What has cruel Fate done!” Of the gods, accomplished saints, ascetics, Yog¶s (mystics) and anchorites, whoever witnessed the condition of Janaka on that occasion, none, says Tulas¶dŒsa, was strong enough to cross the river of love (to escape being drowned in it).
