It seemed as if Cupid himself had appeared with all his charm in the disguise of a horse for the sake of Ýr¶ RŒma and fascinated the whole universe with its youth and vigour, form and virtues as well as with its pace. A bejewelled saddle, thick set with beautiful pearls, gems and rubies shone on his back; the exquisite band with small tinkling bells and the lovely bridle, dazed gods, men and sages alike.
