The gigantic monkeys and bears, who were terrible as death, rushed forward like hosts of winged mountains of diverse colour. With claws and teeth, rocks and huge trees for their weapons they were all very powerful and knew no fear. They shouted “Glory to Ýr¶ RŒma, a veritable lion for the wild elephant in the shape of RŒva˜a” and sang His praises.
