In my terror I closed my eyes; and when I opened them again I found myself at Kosalapura (Ayodhy). Ýr¶ Rma smiled to see me back; and even as He laughed I was 1034 * ÝR” RMACARITAMNASA* instantly driven into His mouth (throat). Listen, king of the birds: inside His belly I beheld multitudinous universes with many strange spheres each more wonderful than the rest, with myriads of Brahms and Ýivas, countless stars, suns and moons, numberless Lokaplas (guardians of spheres), Yamas (gods of punishment) and Klas (gods of death), innumerable mountains and vast terrestrial globes, oceans, rivers, lakes and forests without end and manifold other varieties of creation, with gods and sages, the Siddhas, Ngas, human beings and Kinnaras and the four classes of living beings, both moving and motionless.
