In like manner, O lord of the feathered race mortals cannot be rid of their suffering without adoring Ýr¶ Hari. Avidy (Nescience) has no power over a servant of Ýr¶ Hari; it is Vidy (knowledge of Brahma in Its relative aspect) that holds away over him as directed by the Lord. That is why a servant of the Lord never falls; on the other hand, O best of birds, his devotion to the Lord as apart from himself grows. Ýr¶ Rma smiled to see me bewildered with error : now hear further particulars in this connection. The secret of this diversion nobody came to know, neither His younger brothers nor His parents. The Lord with a swarthy form and rosy hands and feet crawled on His hands and knees in order to catch me. Thereupon, O enemy of serpents, I took to flight. Ýr¶ Rma stretched out His arm to lay hold on me. Away as I flew into the air I saw Ýr¶ Haris arm close to me everywhere. (14)
